Personalized guidance from an experienced coach — standout essays that showcase who you are, not just what you’ve done.

There’s a common misconception that an essay should show off a student’s greatest accomplishment. The reality is that the strongest essays don't start with what you've done — they start with understanding what makes you you. How you think. What you notice. How you’ve grown. From there, we shape that into something clear, specific, and honest. Not something hollow but impressive sounding. Something that reveals the person you are. That's the work I do with students.

I help you find your story. The hardest part of a great application essay isn't the writing. It's knowing what to write about. My students don't just choose a topic — together, we turn their experiences into a story that reveals who they are.

We work until it's right. Unlike many coaches, I don't have a limit on meetings or revisions. My goal is for you to leave with an essay you're genuinely proud of. I take on a limited number of students so I can give each one the time and attention they deserve.

You'll leave with more than an essay. My students learn to find what's distinctive about their own thinking and express it with clarity and intention. These are skills they'll use long after the application is submitted.

I credit Jenny, more than any teacher I've ever had, for equipping me with the skills to be successful. My personal statements, reviewed by Jenny, earned me acceptance to Stanford University and a full-ride scholarship to a top-20 medical school. Halfway through my MD, I still think "What would Jenny say" whenever I write. — Evan W.

I worked with Jenny on my college application essays, and I started at a place where I felt very lost and overwhelmed. Working with her immediately boosted my confidence, motivation, and made the process feel attainable. I credit my several college acceptances and merit scholarship packages to working with her on my essays! — Jayna S.

She has a real gift for meeting you where you are... She helped me shift that, and the result was something I was genuinely proud of. I still catch myself using metaphors from that essay when I'm explaining myself to friends — that's how much it actually captured who I am. — Oakley R.
